Boden Ski wear (sorry . . . I know the sun is out)

It's not my fault . . . I saw the earlier post about the boden autumn preview being out and I had a look)
Just wondering if anyone has bought their children coats/trousers for skiing from Boden and how they found them. I like the look of their ski/snowboard jackets but I don't want style over substance. Any other ideas for where to get good skiwear would be good too, if Boden's not that great.

We have had the ski jacket and it has gone through 2 girls and been worn for 5 years and still looks briliant. I would definitely have bought another if I hadn't found Lands End sale section. I bought them recently so they haven't been worn yet but the prices were so cheap and they look extremely well made ( and they have a built in ability to add length to the arms)... Which is perfect since my kids are currently only really growing upwards. Check out what is left and maybe compare.
