On his feet? Trainers or converse or what? He is 45 if that makes a difference. Thank you.

DH wears birkies. He is 44. But NOT the height of sartorial elegance.

Haha! Yes, he does have an opinion but usually says to me can I order a few things and he will choose. He works away so I order, he chooses job done.

DP goes for "beer drinking trainers" - leather/canvas rather than sports shoes. He is a fusspot though and doesn't like feet.

DH is also 45 and wears sandals like these. But he is not the most stylish and I have had to work hard to wean him off trainers and socks with his shorts.

DH wears sandals, but DH wears sandals in December.

DH wears either deck shoes or Birkenstocks for general wear

Or he likes Animal flipflops (the toepost is fabric rather than plastic) on the beach/in the sea

Although, it took years to convince him not to wear socks and trainers all summer

White socks and sandals.

these are good. And they cover up horrible toenails.

H bought these when we were in the US (can't see them on UK site). They're a lot better than his "proper" crocs.
