Would this dress be okay to wear to a wedding?

As a day guest, or is it not dressy enough? It looks quite flattering on.

If the material is heavy then I would say it would be ok, but it may look too casual if the material is thin / flimsy.

I think it would be fine for a wedding. You could dress it up with accessories, maybe even a hat.

i think the style is fine and would look nice with a big brimmed hat, but i wouldn't wear black or white, or black and white to a wedding.

My friend has just put photos on FB of her in this outfit for a wedding. Had a black and white clutch, a black and white hat and looks gorgeous.

I'm not planning on wearing a hat...am not close to the bride & groom (groom is DH's friend, I've never met the bride) so hat would probably be a bit OTT.

Re the black & white thing - I did wonder. I know that white is an obvious no-no, & I always thought that black was too (however having read threads on here plenty seem to think it's fine) but I thought that black & white together would be okay...

I'd say black and white together is fine..

Loads of people wear black and white to weddings these days. I'm not a fan personally but that's because it looks dreadful on me!
