Help me style a maxi skirt please and I will need links!

I have a purple jersey maxi skirt which I love.

I have never worn it as I don't know what to wear with it.

Does anyone have any ideas what I could wear with it?

Plain white or black cami and a cropped denim jacket?

Yes that might be nice.

It's cooooold here though and I feel all restricted with a denim jacket and I would be freezing with a camp.
