Bare (iffy) legs or nude tights for a christening?

I have a navy blue flowery tea dress to wear for a christening next weekend. It is above the knee but not overly short iyswim.

Last time I wore it I had navy tights as it was autumn. It may be too sunny.

So... Bare legs, nude tights or something I've not thought of?!? Confused

Tights. No question.

Thank you! You have confirmed what I thought but then I worried that nude tights were not right some how... Confused

Can you tell I don't get dressed up much! Blush

As long as you stick with some close to your skin tone all will be well Smile

Oh, and take a spare pair for ladders.

Mn seems to have a thing against nude tights generally. I've seen threads going on about how grannyish they are, etc. I think as long as you avoid that sort of tan shade and go for something very close to your leg colour it's fine.

And not the really shimmery ones, especially if you have bigger legs.
