Has anyone put their Havaianas in the washing machine?

Just that really.

Don't want to throw my lovely yellows away but they look grubby now. Has anyone tried it?

Yes, I have (in a pillowcase, 30 degree wash without conditioner) and it worked well.

I don't think they would come up clean. I scrub my white ones with cif, that works

MrsRogerSterling · 01/06/2013 16:48

I did, they didn't look much cleaner when theycame out. I scrub my dd's crocs with fairy liquid and they come up very clean, maybe try that instead.

I haven't put them in the washing machine but periodically I put them in the dishwasher (yep really) which was recommended, and they come up like new. Not so noticeable on the dark colours but brilliant for the bright ones.

Yes , they are fine

Many many times, just in a 40 wash with clothes, always come up sparkling.

Don't use fabric conditioner in the wash though or they will come out slippy.

I did but it didn't help, mine are still grubby. Need to replace really.
