very bright cobalt blue jeans and?

I never do colour but am beginning to get into it. I have some very bright cobalt blue jeans. I was wondering whether a pale/mid grey top would work. I am VERY pale so a bright colour on top might be too much, but I do like the cobalt blue on the bottom. I have a grey sweatshirt look shirt and also a very fine knit grey t-shirt, so am wondering about those.
Still not sure what colour shoes (heels). Perhaps I should get some bright heels in a contrasting colour?

Sounds great. Grey would be my first choice too.

I wear mine with navy, grey, black and white mainly. Sometimes a neon orange tee when I want to be a children's tv presenter.

I am on a mission to wear more bright clothes but like to keep it away from my face. I could wear the cobalt jeans, pink flats, grey top but I think I would need something to balance all that colour going on (perhaps a bright chunky necklace).
Or maybe I should forget that and wear some more conservative shoes (DH won't believe that I am wearing pink but the shoes looked so fresh in store).
