Hi, I want to get married this August and I'm stressing about what to wear so thought I'd turn to the collective wisdom of MN. I have a 16 week old baby and am still considerably larger than I was pre-pregnancy. I'm 5 6, about 12 stone and a size 12-14 down below, and a 16-18 on top. I'm a 38 H and breastfeeding and will still be breastfeeding on the day. I'm quite pale with blue eyes and brown hair and rarely wear white or cream as it washes me out.
The wedding won't be hugely formal, a civil ceremony followed by a pub reception. As it's quite close, I need to buy something off the peg which could be minimally altered. I would like a nice new dress, but not sure I want a traditional wedding dress. I have a budget of up to £500.
