House of harlow necklaces

I'm lusting after a couple but they're more than I would normally spend on myself, are they worth it? Has anybody bought any and if so, were you happy with it?

I know there are cheap imitations on ebay but promised myself recently I'd stop buying lots of cheap stuff ( in the case of jewellery, stuff that turns my neck green) and invest in some slightly nicer stuff that lasts longer.

It's all costume jewellery so the copies on ebay are likely to be the same materials?

I like the sunburst necklaces.

Wiggy29 · 29/05/2013 22:36

No, the sunburst are 14ct gold and leather, which means I'm happy to pay a little more.

It's 14ct gold plate.... which will rub off with wear. It'll just be base metal underneath... I wouldn't even bother paying the extra for the gold plate to be honest.

I've only seen gold plated ones not solid gold and agree that the plat will wear off.

The prices are for costume jewellery, albeit at the dearer end.

The real ones

Inspired ones on ebay

Personally, I'd buy the ebay ones as at the end of the day it's all costume jewellery.

I'd keep an eye out on the shopping channels as its the sort of thing you'd see on QVC.

I don't like the sunburst ring but I so like the necklace.

Ohhhh, thank you for the tip and saving me wasting £££s! I really like the starburst necklace&also the one with panels (rectangular shape with triangular points at end).

I'll keep that in mind with all jewellery, thanks again.x

It is nice but you are paying for the name. If it didnt have Nicole Ritchies name on it then it wouldn't be so expensive.

Yeh, I think I'll go for the eBay option at about £12 a pop which makes it similar to most high street shops.
