Who can find me my wedding dress?

Plans have changed and now need a dress for low key wedding in reg office sept/oct time.

I was a size 8 now a 10/12 after having a baby, hoping to be a 10 again soon! Baby is three months and weight is going, slowly but surely! I'm 5 foot 4 and 28 with olive skin and v dark brown hair- so can wear white-white or ivory, cream etc but full length could drown me a bit.

Saw this and love it. Anything similar in the uk for £200 ish?

Other similar suggestions or nice dresses welcome!

Thanks you stylish lot!

Sorry, no help from me but have a little bump as I admire the dress Grin

Littleturkish · 30/05/2013 00:34

Thanks yjo! It's a gorgeous dress just a little over budget and really need to try it on first.

Or just any nice posh flattering dress?!

My idea of posh is topshop- just want a nice dress to flatter, if it made me look slim again, I'd pay £300- any suggestions?

Sorry- the above should say proper posh, as in, I don't want to wear topshop, I want something really actually posh!

MrsLettuce · 30/05/2013 10:01

cheap but very pretty indeed

WeAreSix · 30/05/2013 10:09

Do you like the 1950s style?

WeAreSix · 30/05/2013 10:10

MrsL House of Fraser won't open on my phone, do they still have Anouska G wedding dresses?

MrsLettuce · 30/05/2013 10:13

They have 4, here

WeAreSix · 30/05/2013 10:21

I love the Grace style, not what OP wanted though :)

nellyjelly · 30/05/2013 10:54

OP hasn't come back to us. We are are all still indulging ourselves in wedding dress hunting! I love it. Any excuse.

Littleturkish · 30/05/2013 11:02

Oh oh you lot are WONDERFUL!

Looking at the links now.

Who wants to come wedding dress shopping with me?!

I like the 1950s style, got to have a bit of cleavage and love lace.

We are six I had looked at the monsoon but dismissed them on the lack of low neckline- maybe I should be less of a slattern?

Lettuce loads of lovely ones there- particularly like the silver, which I think could be cool if we got an evening 'slot' at the reg office?

OP posts:
Littleturkish · 30/05/2013 11:07

Lettuce VoH could be an option...particularly like their pencil style dresses.

OP posts:
Littleturkish · 30/05/2013 11:11

Right team, great job, nelly also like the simplicity of that monsoon dress- but I need one with a bit of boob- the lipsy ones would be perfect BUT think a pencil silhouette will suit me better rather than floaty. Or like the first dress I linked- flippy rather than poufy.

Any more suggestions?

OP posts:
sweetheart · 30/05/2013 12:07

any good?

more boob but long

bishboschone · 30/05/2013 12:19
