Does any bras start at 26 band size?

Or any that are 28 and come up small?

My underbra measurement is 25.5 inches. I was measuring after reading the bra intervention threads. Around the fullest part of my chest it measures 32. So looks like I am a 26E or 28D?

Thanks!

Have a look at panache. I used to be 28f - they come up quite small. I am a 30e these days.

bella65 · 29/05/2013 22:40

John Lewis do 28. You must be tiny- what dress size are you? I measure about 30-31 under the bust and wear a 32 back- anything smaller and I can't breathe.

bigTillyMint · 29/05/2013 22:42

I couldn't find anything smaller than 28 back for DD (who needs DD cup), but only "glamour-style"

She has to wear 30DD or 30D!

DrGoogleWillSeeYouNow · 29/05/2013 22:45

I wear a 30E when really a 28DD would be my ideal fit. Try bravissimo, they definitely do a 28 back and start from a D cup. Freya are a good small back fitting bra.

DrGoogleWillSeeYouNow · 29/05/2013 22:47

Got my letters mixed up there, I wear a 30DD but 28E is better.

OddBoots · 29/05/2013 22:49

I've been looking online for these today actually (for dd, not me) and there seems to be very little, only custom made which seems very surprising. I found a forum that includes women with larger cup sizes but some as small as 24" ribs.

Theas18 · 29/05/2013 22:51

Panache tango 2 style. Brilliant fit for my slender dd. start at a d cup I believe. Bravissimo have them from dd cup.

Crickey I should have shares in these the number I've bought/ recommended over the years lol, you can generally get the extremes of the size range cheap on eBay in last years colours hn you know hat size you need too..

bigTillyMint · 29/05/2013 22:52

OldBoots, would these be any good - DD seems to manage OK with a 30D, but if she is only a B cup or smaller, there are 28's

Theas18 · 29/05/2013 22:53

I dont think a commercial 26 back is made in a real bra (as opposed to a soft cup thing for teens)

EMUZ · 29/05/2013 22:54

This might help?

If you google big bra bar they were doing small backs
There's also a device called a Rixie clip which tightens bra backs

choceyes · 29/05/2013 23:00

I'm a 6/8 dress size. I have a small frame.

I will try all these suggestions thanks! I used to be bigger a 30G but breastfeeding (still bf a toddler) has shrunk my boobs Sad

Ewa Michalak (?sp) will custom make a 26, but they are based in Poland.

LooseyMy · 29/05/2013 23:24

26 back? My god that's the size in 7 year old ds's shirts! How small!

AuntPepita · 29/05/2013 23:34

It's not that small, I'm a size 10 on top and 29"; I often look at women smaller than me and wonder how they get bras to fit

SorrelForbes · 29/05/2013 23:58

Yes, not that small really. I measure 29.5" underbust and am anything from a size 10 to 14 in tops. I wear a 30GG.

badblueeyeliner · 30/05/2013 00:13

Try Rigby and peller - lots of bras!

suze28 · 30/05/2013 00:16

Sorry to hijack the thread slightly but my DD is currently wearing one of the styles linked upthread, a 28B. She will still need a 28 as she grows bigger so my question is where can I find a 28C? Thanks.

SorrelForbes · 30/05/2013 07:49

Strangely, 28C is a difficult size to find and is often referred to on these threads as 'the rocking horse suit of bras'.

Try M&S and
ebay

StatisticallyChallenged · 30/05/2013 08:06

a 26 really isn't that tiny-I suspect that if more people wore properly fitted bras it would suddenly be available.

op, , it's remarkably easy to alter the back of a bra to make a 28 in to a 26. alternatively ewa michalak bras are great and they make 26s although they are non refundable.

calla23 · 30/05/2013 08:22

third the suggestion of Ewa Michalak bras. but why do people think it's ok to exclaim about how small/tiny a person is? would you do the same for someone more on the large side?

cardamomginger · 30/05/2013 08:43

I am a 28E/F. Panache. I got mine from Bravissimo.

suze28 · 30/05/2013 09:16

Thanks, Sorrel will look again at M&S and I seem to think JL stock that size too. I need nude or white as they will be worn under school shirts, she's 11.
Some of the teen bras are very pretty but not that suitable under school shirts, imo.

SorrelForbes · 30/05/2013 10:00

Yes, the M&S ones are a bit flowery! There are a few white and pink ones on ebay at the moment. Pale pink would probably be ok under school blouses.

midnightinmoscow · 30/05/2013 10:27

Another brand to look out for is Stella Mcartney, as these bras come up smaller than their stated size. I am a 32 and yet a 34 was really tight in this range. Seen them in TK Maxx too!
