Comfortable Socks for size 7.5-8 feet?

I have size 7.5-8 feet and I am despairing of ever getting comfortable socks: socks aimed at female feet are typically 3-8 and those aimed at men are sized 7-11...at the risk of founding like Goldilocks, one option is snug verging on taught and the other is baggy- saggy and ruckles up inside whatever footwear I have on Angry It's starting to really bug me- my feet are not going to get suddenly smaller or larger to a helpful degree and I'm outta ideas, so I seek the expertise of MN S&B please Grin

I have size 8 feet and find the womens socks are plenty long enough. Are your feet very wide?

MotionCity · 29/05/2013 22:41

Gap! They aren't cheap (£4 a pair, or usually they are 3 for £10) but they fit my size 7.5-8 feet like a glove! They are even fine after washing and tumble drying. I will never go back to M&S multipacks...

Ooh maybe it is the width of my feet coupled with the large size...
I'll give Gap a whirl, willing to spoil myself! Thanks for the replies Smile

I have men's 6-8.5 ones from M&S. Most comfortable socks I've ever had, and I have very fussy size 7.5 feet.

Oh, and - not a hugely practical suggestion, but the Dutch shop HEMA (also has branches in Belgium, where I have been living) does its women's socks in 35-38 and 39-42. It was so nice to be able to buy cheap multipack socks that fit! Might be a bit drastic for your situation, though. Wink
