Had the treatment done on Sunday and so far so good.... however I bought these:

www.amazon.co.uk/Organix-Brazilian-Keratin-Therapy-Shampoo/dp/B004ISW5YY/ref=pd_sim_beauty_3

www.amazon.co.uk/Organix-Straight-Brazilian-Keratin-Conditioner/dp/B004KATJVC/ref=pd_sim_beauty_4
They were advertised with the kit on Amazon but the shampoo definitely says sodium chloride in the ingredients which according to the brazilian straightening kit is a huge no no

HELP .... have I bought the wrong aftercare products does anybody know?

Strange. I have that upstairs and have just checked the ingredients, definitely no salt.

Maybe they've changed their formula Hmm

I bought those too and then looked at the ingredients! I ended up using one from my salon instead.

There are two different types of keratin treatment shampoo. The first type is for using after keratin treatment and doesn't contain the sodium chloride the second gives the effect of having had keratin treatment and is frequently full of it.

Thanks Ladies , all the reviews on Amazon say that they used them after the brazilian treatment and had good results so I am going to go with it. Its day 4 and my head is starting to itch now

I used the kit and for aftercare I use sainsburys kids shampoo that smells of cherry almond or their strawberry one, it has no salt and smells lovely works really well and it is CHEAP. conditioner,,, anything without sodium chloride, currently the tressemme keratin one.

I used the stupidly expensive MorrocanOil shampoo and conditioner from my hairdresser at first, then discovered the L'Oreal sulphate free range after some trial error with other shampoos. The Naked range is ok but not terribly moisturising. I hated the Organix stuff, it made my hair tangly and sticky-feeling.

Am really liking the L'Oreal shampoos.
