perfume doesnt smell of anything...

what am i doing wrong? i have some ck in2u for her and in the shop it smelt lovely. when i put it on i can't smell it on me at all, until about 12hours later.

is it something to do with the ingredients?

I heard that if you can't smell a perfume on you then it means that it suits you....

I have no idea whether there's any truth in that though!

Could it be that something in your skin neutralises the perfume so it doesn't smell?

I got a bottle of Miss Dior Fraiche a couple of months ago and it just didn't smell on me at all - nobody else could smell it on me either, even a few minutes after I'd doused myself in it. I ended up selling it on e-bay.
