Clothes shops don't like giving refunds these days do they?

They'll usually try and fob you off with a credit note, IME.

Yes exactly. It's very strange. It is mainly clothes shops that seem to have this aggressive hard sell approach too ime. It turns me right off. They will do anything to force you to take a store card.
