Am I the only person out there wearing sketchers?

I never hear any mention of sketchers on these threads but I love mine.

Am I missing something?

Oh I'm so pleased I'm not the only one!

I'm thinking of getting some converse but am worried that I will still prefer my battered old Skechers and they will just sit in the wardrobe gathering dust.

I had shape-ups but they did something weird (and painful) to my feet and ankles so I had to abandon them. Haven't dared get any others after that experience.

I had a pair of these

They were, I promise, the comfiest sandals ever, but the fabric stretched after a couple of months and they stopped being so comfortable. I still mourn their loss.

I had 2 pairs of black leather Mary Jane style Sketchers and loved them, but the soles wore out very quickly and unevenly (latter problem is to be blamed on my 1 rubbish ankle, not the shoes). I couldn't afford to replace them every 1.5 months, so now I wear Dr Martens instead - they have the same issue with uneven wearing of the soles, but are more comfortable and far more durable.

The pair that Statistically linked to are beautiful - if I had to wear non-DM shoes for work/formal occasions, I would definitely choose them.
