I bought my first and only pair in Paris, aged 17. I have literally worn them a couple of times coz they rub my heels :(

Can't face giving them away though.

I am 39 and have been wearing converse since I was about 12. I must have had over 25 pairs. I currently have white, pink, red, black and blue. Dd is 7' she has pink white & red and even dp wears them, he has about 5 pairs. Thinking about it converse should start paying us for the amount we wear and advertise their shoes!

34, I love my Converse, they're funky black and white ones with writing all over. I can only wear them if I'm not going to be walking loads though as they rub on my little toes.

42, have had several pairs over the years. This thread has made me look at the converse site and I'm now trying to justify spending money on some customised ones..... damn you MN and your money spending opportunities!

They were practically all I wore in my 30's (sahm to young children) have since emigrated am 40 and live it open toed wedges or flip flops ...when I go back to England I tried converse again and they completely shredded my feet , the only closed shoe I can stand to wear now are a cheapo pair of converse knock offs from New Look.

I did have purple, grey, red, navy, white, cream a camouflage pair with no laces and a black pair.

I fancy leopard print next. I really hope I'm going to be able to tolerate wearing them without socks as well, as they look quite nice with my maxis and even with little summer skirts.
