Anyone had semi-perm eyelashes? Do they ever stop being annoying?

I had them done yesterday morning - my friend owns a beauty salon and I'm her guinea pig

I didn't exactly go for subtle, and I bloody love them, but god, they're annoying.

I can see them, they tickle my eyebrows, my eyelids feel heavy and it was weird earlier when I was trying to pull a top over my head

Do you eventually get used to them?

Watching with interest. How much does your friend charge for the lashes (I presume you got them for free if you were a guinea pig...!)?

£49 full price, then £22 for a top up every 3 weeks. Mine were free though.

The brand is something like AH Francis, I can't remember and I've lost the after care sheet

I love them, I've got really spindly lashes naturally and these are huge and gorgeous. I could've gone for shorter ones, which are presumably less annoying, but thought if I'm going for it I should really go for it

I agree! What's the point of 'au naturel' if no-one's going to notice them? I have blonde lashes and wear a tonne of mascara but at that price, semi-perm might be worth it (and a time-saver) :)
