I really like the Dr Organics Manuka Honey one, its around £5 from Holland and Barratt.

munchkinmaster · 24/05/2013 12:14

My DH swears by Crabtree and Evelyn source in the blue packet. It's about £7. His skin is a mess due to work and really helps.

DoodleAlley · 24/05/2013 12:18

Really bargain basement but diprobase from local chemists is amazing for dry hands but won't come in a pretty packet or be fragranced if that's what you are looking for.

Blanketsandpillows · 24/05/2013 12:26

I second the Crabtree and Evelyn ones-I find the Gardeners Hand Therapy excellent (and I am not a gardener by any stretch of the imagination).

SacreBlue · 24/05/2013 12:26

Big fan if diprobase ointment too :) also have beeswax from local beekeepers that I picked up at a recent market £2.50 bargain and he had added a bit if lavender too.

MrsSJG · 24/05/2013 13:22

I love the dove pro age hand cream and it's cheap, has really turned my really, dry, flakey sore hands around

fluffiphlox · 24/05/2013 15:47

L'occitane. Neutrogena.

VillaEphrussi · 24/05/2013 15:51

Atrixo intensive in a pale green pot.

Allthingspretty · 24/05/2013 15:55

Not strictly a handcream but i have beem using aveno moisturising lotion on my hands and fpr me that has worked better than hand cream althought i mist admit i have a dove one that i do rate

MousyMouse · 24/05/2013 15:56

aveeno. around 5£ and it's great stuff!

HotSoupDumpling · 24/05/2013 16:32

Aveeno - discovered here. I have used most cheaper handcreams including Crabtree, and it really is the best for me. I had really dry hands from lots of handwashing - Aveeno is the only thing I found that lasts through the all the hot water and soap.

LadyVoldemort · 24/05/2013 16:35

Soap and glory. I love it! Smells good and isn't greasy, doesn't cost the earth.

naturelover · 24/05/2013 16:46

Aveeno. It's effective and inoffensive-smelling. Frequently one-third off in Sainsbury's which is when I stock up (I always buy the body lotion too).

Grammaticus · 24/05/2013 16:47

Neutrogena. Not the concentrated one, the one in a tube that says it is easily absorbed.

hillyhilly · 24/05/2013 16:51

Lotil, from boots - brilliant stuff

MrsBertMacklin · 24/05/2013 16:52

I was moaning on here about having hands that looked in need of Polyfilla last week and was recommended Aveeno. £5 and it is really, really good.

Yonihadtoask · 24/05/2013 16:56

Body Shop Hemp. It's often on special offer at £5 for the large tube.

Smells a bit funky -but does the job.

Also love L'Occcitane shea Butter hand creams - but they are more expensive.

MrsLettuce · 24/05/2013 19:18

Neutrogena Norwegian formula. Last product on this page. Excellent stuff.

Mrdarcyswife · 24/05/2013 20:36

Another vote for aveeno hand cream! It's brilliant

MrsBertMacklin · 24/05/2013 20:40

I've tried Hemp and L'Occitane, both good; but I think Aveeno is better because it moisturises for longer.

suebfg · 24/05/2013 20:42

I like the Body Shop hemp cream. Soap and Glory is nice too but it does nothing for my nails.

Dillydollydaydream · 24/05/2013 20:44

I like the soap & glory Handfood. Smells lovely.

gaggiagirl · 24/05/2013 20:47

Another vote for body shop hemp and another vote for loccitane

Alwayscheerful · 24/05/2013 20:48

Aveeeno, Body-shop hemp and the blue gardeners Crabtree (minimal gardening or me too).

mrsblakey · 24/05/2013 20:51
