Ombre hair, not sure...

....if I like it. I have seen some fabulous versions, but if it goes wrong....eek! What is the general consensus?

I had it for a bit. I liked it when I'd just had my hair cut but it really draws attention to the ends of your hair, and my hair gets a bit straggly/split end-y when it hasn't been cut recently, which didn't look great.

I also the think the tend might be in danger of passing...

It just looks like massively grown out roots. It seems we've been told its amazing, when in fact we can all see that it's not.

Yes, that's what puts me off that it is on it's way out just as I have it done! I just get incredibly bored with my hair colour at times.

bit last year

I did it and got bored and dyed my hair all one colour and darker a few weeks ago.
Much prefer my hair all one colour and I've had many more compliments since

I did it,and love it,get compliments on it,but it must be done by someone who knows what they are doing ,otherwise it can look really horrible.

Some of these are nice, others are a bit meh. Any other suggestions what I could do with my colour would be gratefully received. My base colour is dark brown, but I have natural auburn and chestnut tones. I'm lucky I haven't had any greys yet (I'm the wrong side of 30). My hair is straight, long, fine, but full.

little,my hair is similar to yours,but mine is a bit wavy ,I did show the guy who did the color lily Aldridge pic this.
And he did a good job in my opinion,a good hair cut is a must for the ombré to show.
I did see horrible ombré jobs,so choose wisely

I have it and although I'm getting a little bored of it now, I think if it's done well it can look good.

Lily's hair looks lovely santa, very pretty and more subtle too.

I have it and love it. It was green, now it is blue. I like not having to bother with regrowth lazy.
