Have been trying oil pulling and turmeric for a fortnight now.

Teeth seem stronger, they are whiter and gums healthy. Breath is fresh and skin is rejuvenated, no longer dry and flaky.
I used coconut oil rather than sesame seed oil and a spoonful of tumeric in water every day.
Please try it, it will change your life.

It lowers cholestoral, (turmeric) good for borderline diabetics and people with skin disorders.

Disclaimer

The turmeric in water, obviously melted in very hot boiled water, left to cool to luke warm. Tastes absolutely disgusting for a few days, now its just like water.

I am going to give the coconut oil a try but I am confused about the turmeric in water. The link doesn't mention it - what's it supposed to do? It sounds disgusting though!

Eew have just done my first oil pulling session...used sesame oil which really tasted odd!! I think I should swap for coconut oil instead. I only managed 5 minutes before I gave up but will try and build up to 20 mins! Thanks for the info on this...I had never heard of it.

How interesting, where does one procure coconut oil?
