My June wishlist (in case we actually get a summer)

Anybody fancy helping me find the following please? They need to be from real shops.

  1. small tan leather clutch (but £50 or less)
  2. chambray shirt dress, mini-ish length
  3. tan leather clunky sandals but not too high
  4. bright pink layering t-shirt with long or three quarter sleeves
  5. fabric biker jacket but not jersey - ideally khaki but could consider other colours
  6. pale grey or white broderie cotton skirt, full but not too full and around knee length

And I'm also still looking for a yellow, perhaps pleated, just below the knee or on the knee length skirt.

Thanks in advance. :)

Real shops because a) I can be anything from an 8 to a 14 depending on the style and b) because I work full time so am not in to get packages and c) because I can't be faffed with returns and d) because I prefer real shops!

Don't like those sandals, Chew - sorry. Am thinking more 70s. Thanks though.

i have these sandals from Next - I don't buy much from next but think these are really nice (sorry not 70s though).

and also got these last summer and they're really comfortable .

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/05/2013 20:19

I like both of those, thank you. But am still hankering after a clunky wooden heel (but not too high) like I had as a child in the 70s. Think Hasbeens but lower and less cutting edge, I guess!

Oh and I do love your name, although I know I've told you that before - love, love, love that book.

How about these sandals? Oh. Just noticed the price - pretty expensive for sandals...but they're clunky!

Or if you want 70s these Grin

too high? or similar

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 21/05/2013 23:44

Ooh spooky 40bum lady has just posted new blog today on fabric biker jackets - some jersey but several which are not

BeattieBow · 22/05/2013 07:09

aw thankyou Remus - it's one of my favourite books too. apparently on the school curriculum in Australia too!

Plumo have some low hasbeens have you seen those?

Also hush have some chunky tan sandals but I'm not sure that these are what you're looking for. Hush also have fabric biker jackets.

Denim dress from M&S.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/05/2013 17:16

LOVE the Ecco sandals (except the price). they are perfect. Like the 2nd Next ones too. I'll start in Next then!

Like the Hush ones but really cba with online. Like BumLady's grey jacket too, and will investigate that irl.

Like the M&S dress but have a virtually identical one. Am thinking much lighter chambray - like a man's shirt but a dress.

These are brilliant - thanks all.

chambrayish dress - look much better on. I have it and get loads of compliments on it.

Beige chunky shoes

3/4 length bright pink tee

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/05/2013 19:28

We haven't got J Crew.
I like the Zara shoes but too high.
Don't like the Cos dress, sorry - but I am short and norky so it would never work on me!

Thanks though. Lots of tops I want on the Cos site now.

Gathered broderie anglaise skirt. Expensive, but at least it's got 20% off... I'd like something like this, but at quarter of the price!

Sort of broderie anglaise skirt

I know you said real shops, but this one's too much of a bargain (at least compared to the Jaeger one) not to link to - I think I'd buy this, but they only have 8 & 10s, gah!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/05/2013 22:24

Like the Jaegar one but their stuff is way too long for me. Don't like the other two. Thanks though. I'm going to check out the Dotty P's and Topshop ones.

I got that la redoute black skirt today. The broderie anglaise. It's very nice indeed.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/05/2013 21:18

It is - but I stand by my need for real shops. :)

You're quite weird about that reem

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 23/05/2013 21:39

I know - bitter experience has taught me that weird is safer. :)
