Which shoes with a very vampy red dress

PTA may ball tonight - I am the queen of indecision. I have a gorgeous red lace dress to wear to it and need to decide on shoes. The dress is knee length and strapless and is very Mad Men - Joan rather than Betty. So what shoes? The choice is:

Platform nude sling backs (4" so not hugely comfortable)
Diamanté sandals
Silver sandals
Black courts

Any opinions?

The nude shoes. Black shoes with a red dress looks too harsh I think and I am not a fan of sandals unless paired with a very summery,relaxed look.

Black courts all the way if you want to work the Joan thing, unless either of the sandals have a clear vintage feel going on.
