Where can I get some lightweight sweatshirty type tops like these?

With a thousand apologies for the DM link, I really need some tops like the ones Gisele is wearing here.

DS is six months old, and whilst I'm finally starting to get on top of my belly issues I could do with some casual, forgiving tops to wear with jeans in the interim. I've got more summery stuff, but with this weather I'm starting to lose hope of ever being able to wear them.

And yes, I realise I am probably on a fools errand to even think about attempting to recreate a Gisele look... Blush

Thanks.

Artura, your post prompted me to look at Hush's site...some nice stuff!

PetShopGirl: saw this on Hush (the top looks almost identical to Gisele's!) The royal blue and pale blue are nice, not sure about the yellow...

Oh, I love the ice one from Hush. Does anyone know what their sizing is like?

Whoops mysteryfairy you're right about the polyester. Hush's one is still 40% polyester though. I don't really mind tbh, makes stuff easier to wash - I judge clothes on an individual basis and don't rule out man-made fibres. Although Baukjen 95% viscose stuff selling for £££ does annoy me...

I have the gap raglan sweatshirt that PetShopGirl linked to further up the thread and it is fantastic. Just ordered another two online. Very similar to James Perse stuff, which I love and is very 'LA celeb goes to supermarket dressed down' but prohibitively expensive unless you can buy it on sale in the US. E.g. this one v similar to the gap raglan one: James Perse

So glad you started this thread OP as have been looking for something similar and have had no luck. Thanks to whoever suggested Primark. Went this afternoon and got one v similar to the one in your link - in a bluey grey and another in a brightish pale blue. They had a gorgeous light grey colour but not in my size sadly. £6 each. Quite thin, v soft and slouchy. Perfect :)

Damn you lot , I went back to primark and bought 4 more !

Acrackinthefabricoftime · 19/05/2013 18:27

But that's less than the price of one in a lot of other places Bishbosh - so you have actually SAVED money.

PinkMangoSays · 19/05/2013 20:19

Primark is amazing for these jumpers. The men's section has some nice designs too!

CointreauVersial · 19/05/2013 20:23

Any sweatshirt with high polyester content will bobble like a bastard within days....
