Dirty whistles dress!!

In a rare treat myself bonus day moment I ordered a dress on sale from whistles
It arrives
I'm thrilled
Until I open it and it was covered in make up!!!!
Phoned them they were apologetic etc but how the hell have they reprocessed a return without actually looking at it
And there re no more 10's available
Rubbish!

How annoying - would it be worth getting it cleaned and asking them for a further reduction to cover the costs??? I have done this in store with clothes with make up stains etc.

Can they not search all their stores to find your size even if it's not available online?

Otherwise have you tried john Lewis/HOF?

Ime I find they only ever offer a small discount eg a fiver for make up stains. Depends on whether it's likely to wash out or not to as whether it's worth it?
