Best product for adding texture to short hair?

I have light blonde hair and after years of struggling with long, limp flyaway hair, I've had it cut very short.

I love it, it's so easy to care for, but it does need something just to rough it up a bit. Ideally I'd like something which is very light, not sticky or stiff and which doesn't dull my blonde hair. Something which looks natural, but just gives a bit of lasting texture. Does it exist?

Oh yes:

Fathair crème

Schwarzkopf dusting powder

Rootlift sprays, eg John Frieda

I have the same kind of hair as you by the sounds of it. When mine was super short, I used KMS molding paste - just a pea sized amount rubbed into fingertips and then roughed up hair with finger tips. Key to use very sparingly - then you end up with hair that looks like it doesn't have any product, but behaves like it has.

Here it is on Amazon but I think you can get it cheaper elsewhere online.

The fathair is very similar, by the sounds of it.
