Long length skinny jeans - premium or high street?

Morning, just wondered if anyone had any ideas for long skinny jeans? I'm a 36" inside leg and getting totally fed up with high street jeans. I've tried:
Topshop - they used to be great and are now all seem to be jeggings.
Next - they all go so baggy at the knees and waist very quickly
Long Tall Sally - I find them so frumpy :-(
New Look - are ok but don't last
Dorothy Perkins - just not a fan!

I'm up for spending a decent amount for premium/designer denim if it works and i can have a decent pair (or 2!). I'm also off to the USA in a couple of weeks so have the option of looking there (or ordering online before I go).

I'm 29, 6ft and a size 14.

Have you tried Gap? I know they have 36 inch leg men's jeans as my husband buys them. Might be worth a try.

Thanks, I know Gap UK don't do ladies jeans long enough but i can get Gap USA online which could be an option. I finally got some shorts from there last year which were long enough!

J Brand jeans are fab and will be cheaper in the States.

I have a 34 inch leg and find the Primark 34inch jeans really long (so that I even roll them up a bit). they are quite a bit longer than the New Look 34 inch legs, esp the Super Soft Skinnies. might be worth having a look?

Longleggedlovely · 16/05/2013 11:22

Thanks Madhousequeen, I hadn't even looked in Primark because I didn't think they would be long enough. Will have a look!

Article roll - thank you, they look fab and def what I'm looking for but doesn't look like they go long enough? Will have a proper look on laptop tonight but a quick look round the site only brought lengths up to 30".

I'm W28/L36 and have had some luck with H&M in 'regular [rise] straight' fit. (They're not straight leg, they're very much skinny jeans, and I'm only 24 so they're definitely not LTS-style mumsy.) Their 34" leg sometimes comes out very long - I've got some that I measured as 36.5" inside leg, but of course you need to find a big enough H&M to try them on in person.

My American friend who's the same size and proportions as me swears by Gap Tall fit. I wish they'd sell it here! Envy

Uniqlo?

I feel your pain.
My favourite ever jeans are Paige. I have 35" leg & I love it that they're too long. £££ but cost per wear is peanuts.
I suggest a search on Donna Ida & find a US brand so you know what to look for.

Longleggedlovely · 16/05/2013 19:06

Thank you all! Thanks

Will def try Primark and H&M when next in town. I've never tried their jeans as always thought they would be too short. Also definately going to do a Gap USA order. Have previously looked at uniqlo and they don't go long enough unfortunately unless its the same situation as Primark and H&M.

Have also had a quick look on Donna Ida - what an amazing site! Need to have a proper look later but Paige sounds promising!

Just thought I'd see if anyone else has suggestions before an online order tonight and a shopping trip on Monday?!

I've just bought a new pair of jeans. I was willing to pay for a premiium brand and I did try on Seven for all mankind and several other expensive jeans (can't remember their names!)

In the end I plumped, yet again, for a much cheaper GAP pair. They fitted the best (for me) and I like the denim they used.

Try Uniqlo - I'm shorter wearing 34" and recently discovered they do great long and skinny jeans. Great quality and value and the colour doesn 't bleed. Primary do have longer lengths but dd who wears them ends up with dye on her legs, even after they've been washed!
