alternative to Smashbox photo finish primer

anyone any suggestion to an alternative?

Mine is running out and at £25 is quite expensive

anyone have any cheaper suggestions or should i just bite the bullet and buy it?

I use L'oreal Photo perfect primer which I love (and it's cheaper at £15) but it comes in a pot and I have long nails and the two don't go!

I have the smashbox primer in my basket on the boots website but wanted to check with S&B pals before I shell out again!

No7 airbrush away is good, you dont need much & dont need to apply it all over the face. (I work for No7 btw)
I've used MAC prep & prime before, it was ok, nothing amazing.

You can get it cheaper than Boots on ebay, I buy mine there and it's usually around £28-30 for a 60ml tube; Boots is £25 for 30ml.

Alternatively I've read that Lanacane anti chafing gel is exactly the same stuff and that is £6.65 for 30ml on the Boots website, gotta be worth a try!!

Lanacane anti chafing gel has exactly same ingredients and is a known dupe in beauty world.
I have some and its works well. Makes my face really smooth and silky!

Another vote for Lanacane here....I'm sure the staff at my local Boots must think I've got a problem the amount of this stuff I buy. Put it on under my DW today and looks great...remember to give it a couple of minutes to set before your foundation....

I've tried Lanacane and didn't think it was that great (got it from Poundland btw, not £6!!!) but I didn't leave it a few minutes before applying foundation, so will try it again tomorrow.

I've started using Lanacane thanks to vallum seems to do the trick!

i've also got the MUA one and really don't think much of it.
