Ive got a date Saturday night, help me find something to wear!

The date will probably be for food and a few drinks afterwards
I havnt bought dressy clothes for a few years and I'm so unprepared for this!
I'm pear shape and although I would wear a skirt or dress it can't be too short, an inch or two above the knee is as short as ill go to hide the cellulite
I'm in my late twenties and have dark hair an medium skin tone
Budget is £100-£150a max and that's to include shoes
Please will you lovely mumsnetters come forth and make me look amazing

How about skinny jeans with a blazer and heels? Get a nice fancy shirt for underneath and a clutch bag.

I don't think the style of dress Celticlassie linked to is too formal. Oasis have lots of dresses but some of them are shorter than you're looking for.

When my boyfriend and me go out I tend to wear a dress and heels with opaque tights and just a denim jacket over the top. I'm about the same age as you.
