Will these shoes look ok with this dress?

Just bought [http://m.johnlewis.com/mt/www.johnlewis.com/whistles-bella-bodycon-dress-blue/p373661#un_reviews this]] dress to wear to a wedding.

I have these shoes which I love but have barely worn as haven't had many suitable occasions (yes I know they're probably very last year!)

Will they look ok together?

I say yes, they will look great. Maybe pick out the orange for your accessories or bag. Lovely dress!

Stunning

MrsLettuce · 12/05/2013 16:23

Yes! Fab choice.

trixymalixy · 12/05/2013 17:06

Phew, it's unanimous so far.

Now to hunt for a clutch and accessories, any help would be much appreciated!

Was thinking a simple gold cuff? Would an orange clutch be too much?

I covet those shoes. Am going against the grain in saying they won't go with the dress though. Black and electric blue? Nope.

MrsLettuce · 12/05/2013 18:17

Black and electric blue is a classic combo Confused

trixymalixy · 12/05/2013 18:20

It has been styled with black shoes here. Black shoes were my backup plan!

Black and electric blue can be brilliant together. Not sure about those shoes though. If you do want to go with them, Gap and KG often have bright clutches.

trixymalixy · 12/05/2013 22:41

I spoke too soon Grin

What shoes would you wear with it Remus?

rootypig · 12/05/2013 22:44

Not sure they do work but it's not the colours, but the ruching in the dress vs the clean lines of the heels.

Orange clutch would be too much imo. In fact bags ruin dresses pretty much. Can you take a lackey to carry your shit for you? Grin Think I'd add a red lip for a bit of colour chaos.

trixymalixy · 12/05/2013 22:51

My DH will be there.... Grin

Hmm not so sure now, will wait until it arrives and try them on together.

yy think it will defo depend on your, your style, your hair.

take a full length pic on your phone and come back to it the next day for max objectivity.

Fairylea · 12/05/2013 23:01

Yes. Lovely combo :)

Nombrechanger · 12/05/2013 23:11

Love the combination.

What about this bag?

Geordieminx · 13/05/2013 18:23

Love the dress and the shoes. There are some fab orange clutches around just now, accessorise, river island and KG all have loads.

Like with black also... Try on with both.. Can come and give you opinion in you wish!

You will look beautiful!

trixymalixy · 14/05/2013 22:23

What do you think of this bag?

FunnysInLaJardin · 14/05/2013 22:25

lovely shoes and dress and bag! Stunning. Plus lime green/yellow is very this year. Reiss and Prada have some lovely stuff in that shade

FunnysInLaJardin · 14/05/2013 22:28
