Easy to wear plainish jersey dresses

Every now and again I find a lovely block colour easy to wear for work and/or social purposes jersey material type dress. I only every find them by chance but need to pick up a few more for variety.

Anyone know where I can find them?

Isabella Oliver?? here. Quite expensive, but they often have offers/sales on, and they wash and wear well. Sizing is on the generous side.

Me and Em Great quality jersey.

JennySense · 11/05/2013 11:41

me too - I like a wrap jersey or one with ties?

Sadly both of those places are well out of my price range! I'm thinking £40 max per dress.

Might have a look in the supermarkets

Great Plains (especially the sale bit )

JudithOfThePascha · 11/05/2013 13:48

Wow, I like the Me and Em ones. A bit out ofmy price range, too - but they are lovely!

Have you looked at Gap? I can't do links on my phone, but on here the other day someone linked to a nice t-shirt style dress from there.

not Jersey but very nice

confusedalways · 11/05/2013 13:54

Topshop have some great ones. I have several in different colours I love them so much! Sit just above the knee and high necked so can be good slightly formal day wear.

TigerseyeMum · 11/05/2013 13:59

People Tree. Though am reluctant to recommend them because their sizing is crap and you have to pay delivery and returns.

JeanPaget · 11/05/2013 14:00

I've found some nice ones in Dorothy Perkins and also White Stuff (if you search though all the highly patterned ones!)

Bunbaker · 11/05/2013 14:24

I love those Top Shop ones, but without seeing them on a model you can't tell how short they are.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/05/2013 14:56

I really like the White Company ones but they are about £70 full price. They go down to about £50 in the sales and are well worth it then.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/05/2013 14:58

They've got some money off here

Does anybody know if this is just online, or in store too?

HalfSpamHalfBrisket · 11/05/2013 15:00

I've got some lovely ones from Great Plains (in the sales - down to about £13.00). I know their sizing well now so often pick them up off ebay for £3-4.

feelthis · 11/05/2013 15:00

I've got this boden one. Is nice - got it with 20% off, not going to rock the world in it, but handy enough - though jersey could be thicker

TigerseyeMum · 12/05/2013 20:22

I saw some nice ones in New Look today, long jersey dresses around £20 ish. You'd have to be slim to wear them, well not slim but not too lumpy bumpy. I used to wear similar ones years ago when I was a lot smaller than I am now and it has made me realise how ancient I am that retro 90s fashion is now all the rage...
