Hi ,
I have noticed on a few threads Aldi products havebeen recommended.
Would be interested in views from those who have used them please.

I'm a complete convert, I used to hardly bother with skincare but since my mid 30s I need some help so have been experimenting. I have the basic day cream which is great, very rich which my skin needs. I also have the serum which is great too. I've recently got the eye cream and the wrinkle stop too. Love them all, and they're all under £5!

I use the Lacura moisturiser in a little glass jar and it's lovely Smile

OnTheBottomWithAWomansWeekly · 10/05/2013 12:46

I use the night cream - it is so thick and rich it nearly drags your skin as you apply it - but soaks in well and definitely makes a difference the next morning.

I also use the OCM method with a microfibre cleaning cloth that works just like a £££ Dermaflannell, and olive oil - it's the cheapest skincare routine I've ever had - and the best!

SoH - I think that's the one I use too.

happyyonisleepyyoni · 10/05/2013 13:13

I use the Lacura day cream and serum. They are both very well absorbed, non sticky and lovely fragrance. I have combination skin and this is the best I have tried for my skin. Use the Superdrug hot cloth cleanser which is also bargainaceous

mrsblakey · 10/05/2013 13:27

thanks I will definitely be trying out !

Not for sensitive skin ime!!

Their eye cream is amazing though.

takeaway2 · 10/05/2013 13:52

I bought the serum and raved about it here. Last week bought the moisturizer day cream (green white packaging). Yet to try it but an v optimistic that it'll be good.

I was/am a Lancôme/Estée Lauder type product person. So.... Grin

WorkingtoohardMama · 10/05/2013 13:55

I use the day cream, which is lovely and also the eye roller, which I do think has helped the skin under my eyes a bit; I'm definitely going to try the night cream after reading this thread.

timidviper · 10/05/2013 13:56

It's good stuff but I hate the smell. I can't even figure out what the smell is, it's not floral or anything identifiable but I gave up using it because it was making me boak. (Have to say here I am generally a great fan of scented products, I hate unscented where you just get a mild whiff of grease but not this scent)

Spookey80 · 10/05/2013 13:57

I bought it a while ago and was really pleased initially as it seemed great,,but after a few weeks of use I began to get Amal red spots on my cheeks. I then stopped using it and they went. I usually have to use organic, very natural ingredient products, so think it must have been because it wasn't any of these things.
Definately worth a try at the price as might suit some people.

Branleuse · 10/05/2013 13:57

I really rate it

DrSeuss · 10/05/2013 14:05

The serum and eye cream for mature skin are great, the face wash is good too. Has anyone tried the make up?

rubyflipper · 10/05/2013 14:59

I wish aldi would sell fragrance-free versions of their creams. They feel nice but the smell is too overpowering for me.

derektheladyhamster · 10/05/2013 15:01

I have the wrinkle stop and eye cream, which are both great. I also use the concealer which is also lovely.

rachywhite83 · 10/05/2013 15:03

I only use there make up now. its lovely. Just enough coverage for every day

coffeewineandchocolate · 10/05/2013 15:15

love it!

babamummy · 10/05/2013 15:28

I'm using up a jar of their day cream but won't be buying it again as I found it very heavily perfumed.

Rattitude · 10/05/2013 15:54

I have bought the night cream. I have not found it particularly effective and I am not keen on the smell either, so I would not buy it again. The Touche Eclat equivalent is good though.

TallulahBetty · 10/05/2013 20:14

The shimmering day cream is amazing.

TheYamiOfYawn · 10/05/2013 20:20

I like the moisturiser, but have found the make-up very touch and go. I tried a lipstick which was a hideous colour, and the BB cream was too matte for my liking, but the touch eclat thing is great.

JennySense · 10/05/2013 20:23

I tried it but hated the smell too.

DisappointedHorse · 10/05/2013 20:23

I use the shimmering day cream and the serum. I have very sensitive skin which reacts and is spot prone and they are both brilliant.

Iwantmybed · 10/05/2013 20:26

Great. I use the eye roller, shimmer day cream and serum. Also the concealer is really good.

thenightsky · 10/05/2013 20:41

The premium night cream in the jar with silver lid and green label gave me a horrible itchy rash. I'm using it up on the backs of my hands as a night cream though, and its lovely for that.

The wrinkle stop has pushed back my crows feet by 5 years at least I reckon. I love that stuff.
