Would what this model is wearing look ok on a RL person?

I'm 5'6" size 10 and look reasonable

It's nice but maybe you need to be taller the model is quite tall and also ha heels on! I'm 5ft4 so no chance for me....

I think that's a lovely dress - really versatile. I'd wear it, and I'm 5,5.

I'm sure you'll look gorgeous in it. Wear with heels if you think it needs a bit more height.

I think it depends on your shape. If you are a true hourglass shape, then I think it would look okay. If you're an apple or pear I'd avoid it as it is not going to be very forgiving.

I agree with worldgonecrazy - unless your figure is balanced it's not going to work. That would make me look terribly large around the hip area. Unforgiving... I don't think you need to be tall though if you're in proportion.

Not so keen on the buttons at shoulder level though.... and agree about needing a balanced figure....
