Boyfriend/Tapered Jeans for 40 year old

Loiking for casual weekend jeans. I normally wear skinny from Levi or Next lift and shape but would like different style to suit my pear shape. Normally wear plain top and scarf and ballet pumps. Would also like to try new footwear. Any ideas for a 40 year old mum ???

Really comfy and flattering and a good length for wearing with flats (unlike my other favourites, GAP High Rise Skinnies which are very long).

I love my new Gap sexy boyfriend - and they were only £10 in the sale.
I'm 5'2 and they graze my ankles with two turn overs.
Not far off 40 and a classic pear that can't wear skinnies but these jeans are great.

justasecond I'm 5'4" and my Sexy Boyfriend jeans come to the bottom of my anke without wrinkling. There's nothing to roll down.

Yep, I am curvy and these have alot of 'bum' in them so never end up hitching them up.

next tapered boyfriend, i luuurve them. I'm 5'7" and can roll them 1-2 times to ankle skim. (oh,and i'm nearly 45,when i remember)

I think they are hard to wear. Because I have slim legs, they make my thighs look much bigger than they actually are. It is also quite hard to avoid looking like a Playschool presenter in them, or at least it is for me.

Have you looked on Pinterest? They can look nice rolled up with heels.

I tried the Gap 'Sexy' ones at the weekend - they made me look like a troll and also they come up huuuuuge. They were an absolute disaster on me.

What size do people buy, is it your usual real size, your usual Gap size (usually a size or two down) or what?

Usual GAP size (28). I've got chunky thighs and they are flattering. I can imagine they'd be a bit baggier on someone with very slim legs!
