Navy trainers converse style but not converse

I'm looking for some navy lightweight trainers/pumps for the summer to wear with jeans. I have tried converse but my size 7.5/8 feet look so long it's ridiculous! Any suggestions gratefully received!

Vans? I think they look less pointy and long?

Or maybe these

Most shoe shops have Converse style shoes in at the moment. I don't buy into this branded shoe wearing, and as far as I'm concerned they are just expensive plimsolls that don't even give the foot much support.

I totally agree Bunbaker, I'm more interested in comfort and support than labels. Yoni, they look ideal, I might order them.... along with any others that are suggested!

I rate my supergas. They are more supportive than Converse. Plus I got them in a sale for £20.

My feet are a (fairly wide) 6.5 or 7 - and my supergas are a little long, but comfortable in the width - at a size 41.

sainsburys- £10.00!!, ooh, actually,I'm not sure they do navy-I have a black pair and a red pair.....

I have the exact same problem with converse. You need keens. Not sure if they do a true navy but have a look online. The most converse-a-like style is called Coronado. Honestly life has changed for my big feet since I discovered them!

Try Lee Cooper ones. Very comfy and only £9.99 in Sports Direct! They do them in pink and navy and they have a pattern around the sides so breaks up the length I think.

Otherwise I second Superga ones - I live in my pumps over the summer so always have a few pairs!

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I have ordered the Dunlop and the Keens look like a contender too! Thanks so much!
