I need to lose weight but in the mean time where can I go to get some nice'ish trousers in a size 18 which aren't going to make me look like I've totally given up on fashion.

I don't like the wide leg, linen trouser look. Jeans, jeggings are too hot in this weather. I'm 36.....I have some cut off denim shorts in the same style I've been wearing since I was about 12 and think I probably need to grow up a bit.

I've got plenty of skirts and dresses but its more for days where I might be out and about all day doing lots of walking and would prefer trousers.

Whoops. Can't believe I have just posted in S&B

Just looked at Debenehams, thanks Exit. There's some chino type trousers which look ok, will go and try on at the weekend.

I'm a 16 and loathe the flappy linen trousers look too but recently found these linen tapered trews in next and they are ideal, also got them in a blue white mix
