HELP! Will I look ridiculous?

It's my Son's review meeting at Nursery today (like a parents evening with loads of other professionals involved in his education/care).

I want to lok smart, but not ridiculous. I'm wearing slim/dark jeans, a stripey vest top and a tiny GAP tweed jacket. My shoes and bag are tan leather.

Is that ok do you think, or too smart? I often wear jackets on an average day anyway.

Can you tell I'm nervous?

HELP!!!

Stop over thinking things! You will look normal and respectable. :)
if a little hot maybe; it's shorts weather here :)

Ah hot you say? I'm in Scotland, but perhaps I would've been toasty. I've changed the vest top to a linen shirt so now I can strip off if I'm over heating.

Thank you, for your help!! I feel comfier now.

Don't be nervous Smile

I have regular meetings with professionals at the school due to dds SN, last year I had stripy blue hair, it was fine Grin

Hope it goes well.

Meant to say, outfit sounds perfect.

Glad you feel calmer!

Shirt sounds good - schools can be sweaty places! :)

If you're feeling anxious make a list of all the points you want to raise - just in case your mind goes blank! voice of experience :)

Thank you for your help/encouragement.

The meeting went well, and I was cool enough thanks to mother - I would have cooked in that tweed coat!!!
