I would like to know if any other people who have had lots of bouts of Telegen Efluvium have seen their hair grow back normally. My hair has been shedding for over 10 months. I feel it is a lot thinner. I have had blood tests and it's shown low iron but nothing that terrible.

I'm worried it won't stop and new hair wont grow as it seems chronic now.

The length of the hair cycle is something like 6 months, which may explain why everything (including treatment) takes so long to show an effect. Have you checked thyroid, coeliac etc?

Hi nomore. Is yours post pregnancy/hormone related? I've got a 4 month old baby and currently going through the big-tangles-of-hair-coming-out-in-the-shower stage. Do you have any little fluffy bits growing back? It can be caused by starting/stopping/changing contraceptive pills or other hormones. And I always find it gets worse in Spring. Not sure why...

Hi no more kisses, I experienced quite bad hair loss after the births of DC3 and 4 and I understand how scary and frustrating it can be. Mine was especially bad around my hairline. The only thing that helped me was taking a multi vitamin every night along with a zinc supplement tablet I bought from Holland and barrett. I can honestly say these really worked for me. xx
