I need help buying clothes and shoes

I have a real problem, although friends think it is funny - but I find it very difficult to spend money on myself. (I think it's the last hang up from my eating-disordered fairly fucked up past :( )

Anyway. I am now at the point where my wardrobe is a few ill-fitting tescos joggers, work trousers and blouses from the charity shop, and cheap supermarket t-shirts, and primark jumpers.

My remaining decent clothes (bought about 5 years ago when I last managed this feat) are knackered and tatty. My jeans are worn too thin and holey.

I have a pair of work shoes, cheap flip flops, and knackered outdoor shoes.

I am also pregnant so that's another excuse not to buy stuff, but I need something!

I'm not stylish. Don't like skirts. Like funky. I like Fat face or white stuff type stuff but their clothes seem really flimsy this year.

So - please recommend me a couple of stylish funky maternity tops, trousers, and a jumper. And nice casual funky, comfy shoes.

Camper shoes are good - funky and very comfortable.

I like Fat Face stuff too and also don't often spend money on buying clothes for myself, but managed to find some maternity clothes that I like and feel comfortable in that are pretty plain and casual.

I wrote a post about it on my blog here: www.mummymacaroni.co.uk/pregnancy/stylish-maternity-clothes-from-the-high-street/

Highly recommend buying maternity jeans and tops that you can mix and match - they are worth it when you have a bump to dress.

New Look, if you have one nearby, has a nice maternity range that's not too pricey, it's also available online if you have no store close to you. My sister bought several things from there when she was pregnant and they lasted her whole pregnancy and beyond.
