Please help me add an outfit to these shoes

Bought these on impulse and I'm stuck on what to wear them with.

I've found them styled with this outfit, which I like (not wearing bloody pop socks with it, though), but grateful for any other ideas?

Nobody bored enough to have a nosey at this for me?

The shoes are quite 'retro' so you probably want a nod to the 30's/40's for them to work.

Not sure the pattern's right (think you'd need plain to show off the shoes), but this kind of style would work.

And despite me having said 'plain' this might work either.
