Fringe boots? Are they still ok?

So they're probably not high fashion but I really fancy a pair of ankle/mid calf fringed boots, with a bit of a heel but not too much. Will people laugh because I'm so behind? Or are they a kind of modern day classic?

I liked these but they were a bit shorter on the leg than I wanted.

These are pretty cool, anyone know how River Island shoes are?

I like the Kurt Geiger ones if they didn't have spikes-think the spikes will date them very quickly.Without the spikes think they are 'modern day classic".
