Coloured Streak in my hair - yay or nay?

Am 39 tomorrow, and want to give myself a lift.

Am a dyed brunette with a very short (jawline) graduated bob.

Just off to have my colour redone and have had the thought of livening things up with a coloured streak, perhaps under the top layer of hair, if you get me.

I'm thinking red.

Should I or not?

Go for it :) I've got a bleached 'slice' under the top layer on my left hand side, similar hairstyle to you.

Due to my job/training I can't really dye it crazy colours so its usually red but I love it and am always getting lovely comments :) due to it being underneath as well, I don't have to sorry about roots showing!

Streak wouldn't work because I have a centre parting and a fringe.

Sooo...I have a band of red under my hair, which glows through my fringe and the sides of my. Flashes of red when I swish my bob, iykwim.
