i like comfort - i have wide feet plus bunions, flat arches, you name it - all my cheapo shoes are leaving me covered in blisters

nothing in local ecco, m&s, evans, faith; ebay not coming up with anything suitable

no more time to shop, i'm short of hours at work

want to order TONIGHT! anywhere you'd recommend?

I have size 8 , wide feet and get shoes from the shoe tailor, i've never had blisters or sore feet since buying shoes from them

LilacBump · 19/05/2006 14:24

brantano has shoes in size 9 and 10. they do hush puppies and clarks ones too.

wishfulthinking · 19/05/2006 14:26

Does the shoe tailor have web site?

suejonez · 19/05/2006 14:43

www.cinderellashoes.ie are lovely though expensive and they do road shows twice a year where you can try on. What part of the country are you?

cadbury · 19/05/2006 15:15

Hello, I get mine (size 9's) from \link{http://www.evans.ltd.uk/promostores/Evans/index.html\Evans} or from \link{http://shoetailorcom.drct2u.com/home.jsp\Shoe Tailor}.

They do quite wide (EEE) fittings.

swedishmum · 20/05/2006 08:55

la redoute, long tall sally (not too sure about their width though. There's a link to viva la diva on the simply be website - they seem to have wide fittings though not tried them.

AtHomeMum · 26/05/2006 10:39

I get most of my shoes from Next, often via the directory, as can get my size then. Go up to a 9 in some styles & do wide fitting.

acnebride · 26/05/2006 10:51

this is brilliant thank you!

i'm in oxford. my local evans had nothing i liked in a 42, never mind wide stuff... but that could change i guess. I'll have a look at the shoe tailor.

Birkenstocks have a wide fit option and go up to huge sizes! A real life saver!
