I've not tried it myself but I've seen many a recommendation on here for Sally Henson (or suchlike) leg makeup as an alternative to nudes.

The only stylish (as opposed to 'functional for the office) nude tight option is Wolford Twenties nude micronets. They are stupid expensive but last for ever. Once you try micronets, you won't look back.

OK, I'm thinking Spanx control tights to wear under the Wolford twenties (will be £44) but I think it's the way to go.

I have the spanx ones. Never wore them. The nude isn't rude. It's like a rusty come ginger colour.

Yeah, but kate has nice legs in the first place.

The idea of Spanx tights gives me that panicked feeling you get when you're roasting hot and sweating and trying to put on tights.

Maybe some control knickers, then the Twenties.
