Why is it so hard to find clothes for children aged 7-13 in the shops?

Just that.

Loads of clothes for young children, babies, then past about 13 they're into adult clothes.

Shops, please take note.

I agree Lifeofpo, h&m is usually vile for children over 8 yrs old.

I bought a couple of things from H & M yesterday for DD (12) and neither of them were sequined or animal prints. Keep an open mind.

Love the boys clothes

ouryve · 03/05/2013 13:20

It's really hard for boys. A couple of years ago, everything was emblazoned with gorillas and skills, but at least that's got a little bit better. It's still boring. Our Sainsburys has a massive clothing section and there's not even a whole half aisle of stuff that fits my boys, there.

I'm with you on this one.

I have a skinny 11 year old DD looking for a dress for a big party and they're either a) too babyish b) too grown up or c) mega bucks!

I end up buy ing a lot of stuff on eBay but thanks to other posters, i'll check out H&M when i'm passing next.
