What's fashionable in the cardigan world?

I am the typical mum with uniform of skinny jeans, Breton top, red salt water sandals today (and most days to be fair). I'm mid 30's. I wear mainly red/navy/cream/black/grey tops with indigo or vintage wash jeans. What kind of cardi's would suit do you think? Chunky knit navy aran type cardi? Or is that too studenty?? Anyone any ideas?

I'm a pear shaped 12/14 and 5'9" if that makes any odds whatsoever!

I really rate this lipsy cardi.

But I'm not exactly a fashionista!

Anybody know where to find one of these yellow lace knit cardis? I've been looking for one for ages... Problem is it can be neither too garish or too pale because of my colouring?

That lipsy one is gorgeous but I'd say the sleeves would be far too short on me. I like the colour though. Maybe I should consider an oatmeal colour..
