My scalp is dry and flaky. I have sebhorreic dermatitis and its flared since having DD2. Plus the mop of hair on my head doesnt help. They wont care will they?

I am getting cut and colour. Will the colour cover my greys (I am only 25 :( ) or will they still show through?

Cant decide between black and chocolate brown...whats 'in' at the minute?

Grey can be covered by colour, yes.

If there are any sores or split skin on the head its good practice not to do a chemical treatment.

If you can have a colour i would stick with brown rather than black. Chocolate brown or brown with rich red tones are usually safe choices. Your hairdresser should be able to advice you.

Good luck and enjoy

*Advise... Long day, sorry!

No sores or split skin thankfully. The colour usually helps it, which is odd, but I have found it calms it down!

I think black is probably too harsh for my skin tone. But I love shiny black hair so much! The brown with rich red tones does sound good though.

Thanks :)

Black can be very draining. I'd go for mahogany brown. Enjoy!

Hi

I used to have a very dry, flaky, sore scalp and I too found colouring it improved the condition.

I started using the L'Oreal anti dandruff shampoo (blue and orange bottle) and my scalp has totally cleared up. After years of the condition it was like a miracle, so now I spread the word Grin

Might be worth a try?

Thanks for the tip! Will try that, need new shampoo anyway. I have tried so many things, one more wont hurt.

:)
