HELP!!!! What would you wear to a "Disco"????

When you are 40 and a size 14 like me....

Scoured local shops and charity shops today, just hoping for inspiration. Lots of quite nice dresses etc, but not DISCO- like.... But then again, I'm not sure I know what is "disco" wear IYSWIM.

Seriously in need of ideas and inspiration (without spending too much!)

I'd wear skinnies, a silk top and high heels, or a black jersey mini-ish dress with tights and heels.

Well, just a party (40th) with DISCO as it's theme. So some people just going in dancing gear, some going a la 70's, flares, wigs and platforms... I really just don't know - it's kind of a great theme, but also quite a tricky one!

Oh right - no, if it's Disco theme you should get a white Tux and come over all Saturday Night Fever.

High heels, skinnies, wonder bra, vest top, blazer that fits really well and a nice long necklace
