Just got these from Next of all places and they're really fab! Such a classic! Great fit. Cotton rich so will be great in the evenings on my city break to Venice at the end of the month Grin

I was in Next yesterday looking for these but they only had the white in stock two sizes bigger than my usual size. Can anyone tell me if they come up big or small? I usually take a smaller size in Next compared to other shops, so would normally size down but as they are slim fit, I'm not sure what to order, as I have a flat tum but gymnast thighs.

I am planning a shopping trip tomorrow. I think I will pop into Next and have a look at these. Being pear shaped with a waist 12" smaller than my hips makes trouser buying quite a lengthy expedition.

Mmmm - I'm still confused. What if they prove to be uncomfortable / go horribly baggy on the knees? You might find yourself by the Venetian waterside with a sartorial emergency that you could have predicted, had you tested them at home before hand! :)

Grin at sartorial emergency. I'm only planning to wear them in the evening, so only for a few hours.. And I'll have alternative clothing if they end up a massive disappointment...

I don't buy trousers online as I am such an awkward shape. It is easier to try clothes on in store.

got them today.
i am 1, 70 they are a perfect length for my 31" legs.
BUT i am short waisted so they were too long in the body.
WHite lovely but you could see the seams. The hyacinth blue was nice.

They are going back

I got the black pair delivered today. Good length on me 5'6 but a bit tight on the calves, fine on the waist/ hips so if I went a size bigger they would gap as they sit low and are flat fronted.

Not sure if I'll keep them or not. If they stretched out after wearing for a while ,maybe I would.
