Stone coloured denim skirt - what colour top to wear?

Hi, what colour (apart from white or cream) top would you suggest with a knee length stone coloured denim skirt?

I can only think white and cream, and need inspiration!

Pink. But a dark bold o e.

Mint green maybe?

Thanks for those suggestions - i do have black tops, but am planning on wearing it in summer, so looking for something lighter.... hmmm like the idea of pink!

I have stone coloured trousers that I wear with:-

aubergine / plum

Try stripe, I don't know what figure you are, but navy and white stripes with navy patent pumps is a classic look, but be careful what you pair it with, you want either a chunky and short necklace or a cashmere scarf, otherwise you might end up looking too yummy mummy. P.S Horizontal stripes emphasises curves and hips, vertical elongates your body, pic whichever you prefer!
